American Watch Co. Silver Hunter (pw597)

This is no light weight watch. This 1884 silver hunter case weighs 3 ounces and is still in very nice condition. There are a few minor dings and even wear throughout the case. The lift spring is weak, but the cover holds closed well.

The movement is in great working order having been recently overhauled.

Nice dial (with a couple of minor hairline cracks) and fine blued steel hands.

A nice early watch with a lot of heft. Appleton Tracy grade, marked adjusted and having 15 jewels, this watch is due for another 130 years of life.
