Illinois 60 hour Bunn Special (pwc149)

Here's another classic. The Illinois Bunn Special with a 60 hour power reserve is one of those rare watches that have done nothing but increase in value over the years.

This 21 jewel movement is in wonderful original condition. The finish is 99% perfect... there's the slightest bit of oxidation of the ratchet wheel, but otherwise there are no faults. All screws look perfect with only "maintenance wear". It has been recently serviced and is running very well.

The case is simply stunning! Heavy Bunn Special marred case. The only curiosity is the circular disk on the case back... is it covering an initial....? Can't say for certain as I've never seen that before. Needless to say, it is a perfect match in color and proportion. The crown and bow are like new... This is a very lightly used case and there is absolutely no brass showing at all.

The dial has a relatively obvious hairline running through the 7 minute mark to the center, but the rest of the watch clearly out shine this fault.
