French Marquetry Mantle Clock (mc 004)

One has to look closely at this piece to truly appreciate the workmanship of the marquetry case. Not only is in wonderfully complete condition, but the details are spectacular. The strong running French movement offers 8 days running and a gong strike on the hour and half hour. The finials are all correct, side panels are complete and hands original. The silvered dial shows a slight darkening but not something that should be restored.
