Wafer Thin Platinum & Sapphires (PW407)

Plutus is the name printed on the silvered dial of this absolutely stunning piece from the 1920's. The case on this piece measures (with the crystal) about 8 mm thick and half of that is the crystal!  The case measures 44 mm diameter. Applied Arabic numerals appear to be either white gold or platinum as do the hands. The case is in great condition and features emerald cut sapphires all around the perimeter of the case including the bow with a cabochon in the crown. Inside is a well finished, high grade 19 jewel movement. A stunning piece complete with a white metal period chain.
