American Waltham Mod. 1888 Hunter cased watches are getting harder and harder to find in nice condition. This one is great. It's by no means a rare piece, but the condition is excellent. The lids open and close nicely. Front does not exceed 90 degrees. Stem wind and stem set, this model 88 is labeled Royal. It appears to be a 15 jewel model and has that wonderful regulator. Ser. # 4,469,734 dates the watch about 1889. Original dial and hands are perfect. |
